Equipment

Bring the equipment you already own.

TerraFlo is built around Bluetooth FTMS treadmills, smart trainers, and the sensors you train with — and it learns what your exact machine can do during pairing, instead of guessing from the brand.

Compatibility model

Brand names help you orient, but exact behavior depends on model, firmware, and what the device exposes during pairing. That's why TerraFlo interrogates equipment when you first connect it — learning which controls it accepts, which signals it sends, and where its limits are — instead of guessing from the name.

Guided first-time setup

When you connect equipment TerraFlo hasn't profiled, a guided setup walks through what it supports — you stay at the console, and a treadmill only moves when you start it.

Non-FTMS equipment

If your setup is not listed, register for beta and include the brand and model so TerraFlo can prioritize the right compatibility work.

Apple TV and displays

Large-screen workouts are a named setup path because route video, room distance, and readable overlays all matter.

Sensors that take priority

Dedicated sensors win: a chest strap outranks watch heart rate, which outranks equipment-embedded readings — so your best data is what you see.

Watches and trackers

Apple Watch and Wear OS watches can add live heart rate and workout recording where supported. Garmin, Fitbit, and other trackers are important setup signals for beta planning.

Tell us your setup

Beta registration asks what you train on so invites can match the equipment being tested first — brand and model make a real difference.

Priority equipment families

This table highlights beta-priority families and the kind of behavior users can look for. Exact compatibility still depends on model, firmware, and pairing results.
